Adafruit Breadboard-friendly RGB Smart NeoPixel - Pack of 5

This compact and powerful module allows bright RGB pixel integration into any project. Engineered with the same technology as Flora NeoPixels, it offers breadboard-friendly configuration with dual rows of 3 x 0.1" spaced headers, enabling seamless soldering, chaining, and setup.

The integrated constant-current driver in each ultra-bright LED ensures consistent output, allowing robust 24-bit color control through a single pin. The brightness reduces power demands, ensuring optimal effects with less current, even amid fluctuating battery power.

Capable of drawing up to 36mA for full brightness, an Arduino system can efficiently manage up to 500 pixels at 30 FPS. For connectivity, these pixels can be linked up to 6" apart using ribbon cable, maximizing performance while minimizing power drops and data loss.

Each order includes 5 individually controllable pixels, providing flexibility and potential for creative displays. Note that headers for soldering are not included but are available separately. To facilitate easy integration, a comprehensive NeoPixel Uberguide is available, complete with a library and example code compatible with multiple Arduino platforms.
