Description

This advanced soil sensor employs capacitive measurement techniques, eliminating the drawbacks of resistive sensors. Unlike traditional methods with exposed metal that can oxidize, this sensor uses a single, non-invasive probe, ensuring consistent accuracy without the need for recalibration.

Compatibility is seamless with an I2C interface, allowing connection to virtually any microcontroller using a 4-pin JST-PH cable. Simply connect to 3-5V power, Ground, I2C SDA, and I2C SCL, and access data through Arduino or CircuitPython code.

Get reliable soil moisture readings, ranging from 200 (very dry) to 2000 (very wet). Additionally, receive ambient temperature data from the built-in sensor, within a precision of ±2 degrees Celsius. The sensor package requires no soldering and works with various cable options, including Seeed Grove cables for easy integration.
