This prototyping shield, now available in Version R3, offers unparalleled compatibility with nearly all Arduino models, including UNO, Mega, Leonardo, and more. Its design accommodates various stacking needs, even with devices like Yun's and Arduino Ethernets. Use included stacking headers for optimal performance, though it may not sit perfectly flat.
Special features include a standard 0.1"x0.1" prototyping grid with large pads, a choice between stacking or plain headers, and an IC pattern for DIP ICs up to 20 pins. Power rails are conveniently located down the middle and sides for easy accessibility.
The shield also boasts a reset button, an extra general-use button, two 3mm LEDs in red and green, accompanied by matching resistors. An ICSP stacking header allows stacking of additional shields or integration with an AVR programmer.
A surface-mount chip area supports up to 14 SOIC-sized parts, and it's compatible with tiny breadboards. All pins are easily accessible, with gold-plated pads ensuring great connectivity. Two 0.1uF capacitors offer additional power stability.
Sold as an easy-to-assemble kit, this prototyping shield allows for customization, making it an ideal choice, even for beginners in soldering. Note that Arduino devices and breadboards are not part of the package. For more details and assembly instructions, please refer to our support resources.
