Design your own Pi HAT and integrate custom circuitry with ease using this prototyping HAT kit compatible with the Pi Zero, A+, B+, Pi 2, Pi 3, and Pi 4. This kit includes a Perma-Proto inspired daughter board, featuring a grid of 0.1" soldering holes to attach chips, resistors, LEDs, and more.
Underneath the board, traces are connected to mimic a solderless breadboard, complemented by power strips offering +3V, +5V, and Ground connections. Almost every pin you might want to connect to the Pi is available, though pin #26 is excluded. This basic version comes with a printed circuit board and a single 2x20 GPIO Header.
The absence of an EEPROM allows stacking with other HATs without worrying about address collisions. For further customization, use a standard or extra-tall 2x20 stacking header. Additionally, a slim 2x20 type header can be swapped for a snug fit, or an extra-tall one to hover above USB/Ethernet ports. Light soldering is required to attach the header, but it's easily manageable.
Note: This HAT is compatible only with Raspberry Pi models having a 2x20 connector and won't work with Raspberry Pi Model A or B with a 2x13 connector. Initial versions have +3V and +5V markings in blue and GND in red, with future versions exchanging these colors to align with solderless breadboards.
