Adafruit Particle/Spark NeoPixel Ring Kit - 24 NeoPixels

Transform your Spark Core or Photon into a dazzling light show with this NeoPixel ring kit. The 2.6” (66mm) ring features 24 ultra-bright smart LED NeoPixels arranged in a circle.

Each LED is individually addressable, with integrated driver chips ensuring consistent color output regardless of voltage fluctuations. A constant current drive of ~18mA per LED eliminates the need for external resistors, maintaining a sleek design.

Power the ring using a 3.5-5.5 VDC battery pack for optimal performance, with an included JST connector for easy battery attachment. Compatible with rechargeable LiPoly or LiIon cells, or a 3xAAA/3xAA battery pack.

For coding, simply snap in your Spark, upload the NeoPixel library, and use pin D6. Additional pins are available for integrating other sensors or devices with breakout options on both sides. The kit includes a single round PCB, two 12-pin 0.1” socket headers, and a bonus JST cable.

Some soldering is required, allowing you to customize between a removable or permanent connection for a streamlined look. Please note: Particle (Spark) Core/Photon and Battery are not included.
