Adafruit MSA301 Triple Axis Accelerometer - STEMMA QT / Qwiic

The MSA301 triple-axis accelerometer is compact and cost-efficient, yet packed with features. It provides three-axis sensing and 14-bit resolution with selectable scaling from ±2g to ±16g. The I2C interface makes integration seamless with a fixed address of 0x26.

Specifications include:

• Interrupt outputs for tap, double-tap, orientation, and freefall detection
• Data rates from 1 Hz to 500 Hz
• Low power consumption, drawing a mere 2µA in low-power mode

The breakout PCB simplifies usage by supporting 3.3V (Feather/Raspberry Pi) and 5V (Arduino/Metro328) logic levels. Connectivity is effortless with I2C, needing only two wires plus power and ground, enhanced by SparkFun Qwiic and STEMMA QT compatibility.

No soldering required; interface swiftly via CircuitPython/Python or Arduino libraries for immediate motion measurements. A QT cable is not included but available separately. The fully assembled module includes a 0.1" header for breadboard or perfboard use, with four 2.5mm mounting holes for easy attachment.
