Adafruit METRO M0 Express - designed for CircuitPython

The Metro M0 Express board provides an advanced experience over the original Metro 328, featuring a ATSAMD21G18 ARM Cortex M0+ processor clocked at 48 MHz. With 256K of FLASH and 32K of RAM, it offers significantly more storage and performance.

The built-in USB-to-Serial capability eliminates the need for additional chips, allowing seamless program and debugging. Its versatility extends to CircuitPython and Arduino IDE compatibility.

Power can be supplied via a 7-9V DC jack or a micro USB connector that intelligently switches between sources. With 25 GPIO pins, multiple hardware interfaces, and a 3.3V logic level, it's capable of handling various tasks, from acting like a serial device to performing as a keyboard or MIDI device.

Highlighted features include four indicators and a NeoPixel LED for easy debugging. The onboard 2 MB SPI Flash storage can act like a tiny hard drive, functioning as a storage for scripts or data logging.

The easy reprogramming process is simplified with a pre-loaded UF2 bootloader. No extra tools are needed—just drag and drop your firmware. The board comes assembled with headers and includes rubber bumpers for stability, ensuring a plug-and-play setup.
