This 8x8 LED backpack, now available without the LEDs, features the HT16K33 I2C LED driver for seamless integration into your projects. It offers a streamlined setup process with our intuitive library, enabling functionality in under 30 minutes. Ideal for those intrigued by matrix displays without the usual complexity, this versatile tool simplifies your creative process.

End-to-end stackable design allows soldering address jumpers on the back, supporting up to 8 backpacks on just two I2C wires. Each purchase includes a fully assembled and tested LED backpack, along with a header. Basic soldering is necessary to attach the header and your chosen display.

Compatible with a 1.2" 8x8 matrix display—sold separately in our store—to ensure peak performance. Please note, compatibility is guaranteed only with displays stock in our store; other models may not function properly.
