This custom-designed plastic wheel features a rubber tire with a diameter of 1.65 inches (42 mm), specifically crafted to fit the output shafts of mini metal gearmotors and the Solarbotics metal gear motors. Its hub is equipped with teeth that optionally allow a reflectance sensor to be used, providing encoder feedback for precision-driven projects.

Built for durability, this wheel is engineered to fit securely on the output shafts of the micro metal gearmotors. By mounting these gearmotors onto the side of the hub with the protruding teeth, the output shaft slides smoothly into the socket. Upon pushing through to the opposite edge of the hub, it achieves a snug and reliable fit, ensuring consistent performance.

For Solarbotics metal gear motors, the wheels are perfectly compatible. However, given the shorter nature of the output shafts in these models, they should be attached from the opposite side of the wheel where the fit achieves the necessary tightness for optimal functionality.

The design complements the Micro Metal Gearmotor Bracket Extended, specifically to maximize performance with this wheel. It is important to note that the non-extended mounting bracket version does not provide a compatible fit. Additionally, when purchasing, you receive these wheels in pairs, ensuring a balanced and effective setup for your projects.
