This ultrasonic distance sensor is a high-performance solution equipped with a waterproof probe, ideal for various applications requiring precise distance measurement. Utilizing ultrasonic echo ranging, it calculates the distance to a target by timing the interval between sending a pulse and receiving the echo. This method enables contactless detection of diverse materials, whether transparent or opaque, metallic or non-metallic, liquid, solid, or even powder. The sensor's distinctive bell-mouth shell enhances the directivity and stability of the ultrasound output.

Featuring two output modes—RS232 and voltage analog output—this sensor offers flexibility for integration into different systems. The default RS232 output can be easily switched to voltage analog through a conveniently located button. For accurate measurements, the internal probe surface is the default starting point. However, if the bell-mouth plane is preferred, adjust by subtracting 40mm from the detected distance.
