The Tiny AVR Programmer can be plugged directly into your USB port and features a programming socket for the ATTiny45 and 85. To use it, simply insert an ATtiny with a DIP footprint into the socket and connect the programmer to your USB port. Then, launch the Arduino IDE. After setting up the correct board definitions, you can program it just as you would any other Arduino board. The programmer also offers the convenience of breaking out the IC pins to female headers. This means you can prototype around the ATtiny without the need to repeatedly plug and unplug it. The programmer also includes two ISP headers that have been broken out so you can use the programmer or solder in a 6-pin header for other AVR microcontrollers.
Note: In case you haven't installed the USBTinyISP drivers yet, they can be found in the documents tab!
