Based on Pulse Time of Flight (PTOF) technology, the TF02-i LiDAR functions by emitting a narrow pulse laser. This laser travels to the target and reflects back to be captured by the APD detector. The system then computes the time difference between emission and reception, allowing it to determine distances accurately, much like a stopwatch timing a sprinter’s speed.
