The RP-C flexible pressure sensor is crafted from an ultra-thin film known for exceptional mechanical properties, combined with outstanding conductive materials and nanometre pressure-sensitive layers. The sensor’s architecture includes a thin film and pressure-sensitive layer on the upper section, paired with a thin film and conductive circuit on the lower part. These layers are meticulously laminated using double-sided tape. When pressure is applied to the active area, the previously disconnected circuit in the lower section becomes linked through the pressure-sensitive layer on top, thus transforming pressure into measurable resistance. As the applied pressure heightens, the output resistance correspondingly decreases, ensuring precise and responsive measurements.
