The RP2350 stands out with its dual-core microcontroller architecture, comprising two ARM® Cortex® M33 processors and two Hazard3 RISC-V processors, running up to 150 MHz. Users can select which two processors to activate at boot, allowing for flexible performance configurations. The microcontroller also boasts 520kB SRAM across ten banks and a suite of peripherals, including two UARTs, two SPI, and two I²C controllers, as well as a USB 1.1 controller for host and device support.
Additionally, this board includes 16MB of external Flash and 8MB PSRAM, connected via the RP2350's QSPI controller, supporting development in both C/C++ using the Pico SDK and MicroPython environments.
The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System simplifies prototyping with its ecosystem of I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables. Utilizing a 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, this system reduces PCB space requirements and ensures error-free, polarized connections.
