The Data Logging Carrier Board gives you the power to control when to power the peripherals you are monitoring. It features a charging circuit for single-cell Lithium-ion batteries and a separate RTC battery-backup circuit to ensure consistent power supply to a real-time clock circuit on your Processor Board.
MicroMod is a unique modular interface ecosystem that connects a microcontroller “processor board” to various “carrier board” peripherals. The MicroMod standard, which uses the M.2 standard, is designed to allow easy swapping of processors as needed. You can pair a specialized carrier board with your choice of compatible processor to suit your specific project requirements.
The MicroMod Data Logging Carrier Board comes packed with features including an M.2 MicroMod Connector, a microSD socket, a USB-C Connector, a 3.3V 1A Voltage Regulator, a Qwiic Connector, Boot/Reset Buttons, an RTC Backup Battery & Charge Circuit, and Independent 3.3V regulators for the Qwiic bus and peripheral add-ons. It also includes a Phillips #0 M2.5x3mm screw.
Documentation for the MicroMod Data Logging Carrier Board is readily available, including a schematic, Eagle Files, a Hookup Guide, Board Dimensions, and a Hardware GitHub Repo. There's also comprehensive MicroMod Documentation available, with a Getting Started guide, a Designing with MicroMod guide, a MicroMod Info Page, and MicroMod Forums.
This board is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to collect and analyze data from various peripherals. Its low-power consumption and customizable nature make it an ideal choice for a wide range of projects.
