The Qwiic 6DoF IMU Breakout offers a full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16 g and a wide angular rate range of ±125/±250/±500/±1000/±2000/±4000 dps. This makes it versatile and suitable for a wide array of applications. It also supports multiple modes including peripheral only, secondary I2C, and auxiliary three or four wire serial interface. It is equipped with an array of embedded features such as Machine Learning Core, programmable FSM, FIFO, sensor hub, event decoding and interrupts. These features make it possible to create smart and complex sensor nodes that deliver high performance while maintaining low power consumption.
The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that streamline prototyping and minimize errors. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This design reduces the amount of required PCB space and ensures error-free connections thanks to its polarized design.
As the smallest I2C-supported board form-factor in the SparkFun lineup, the Qwiic Micro is perfect for projects and applications where space or weight is a concern. With just a single Qwiic connector, these Micro boards are ideal for use with the Qwiic Multiport or at the end of a Qwiic daisy chain.
The Qwiic Micro ISM330DHCX 6DoF IMU offers a wide range of features including a 1.71V to 3.6V supply voltage, an embedded temperature sensor, a sensor hub feature to collect data from additional external sensors, and a programmable Finite State Machine to process data from accelerometer, gyroscope, and external sensors. It also offers smart embedded functions and interrupts such as tilt detection, free-fall, wakeup, 6D/4D orientation, click and double-click, and an embedded pedometer, step detector and counter. All these features make it a versatile and powerful tool for any project.
