SparkFun gamer:bit

The SparkFun gamer:bit is a dynamic carrier board for the micro:bit, transforming it into a fully operational gaming system. It boasts a design reminiscent of the iconic Nintendo NES controller and features a four-direction "D-pad" and two action buttons. The micro:bit's two central push buttons serve as start and select functions.

The gamer:bit utilizes an edge connector at its center to connect to the micro:bit, ensuring simple setup and effortless swapping of micro:bits for programming. It offers reliable connections to all the micro:bit pins. Additional poke home connectors on the board's reverse side correspond to each gamer:bit button, enabling the use of external parts to control games.

The micro:bit is a compact, pocket-sized computer that empowers users to explore their creativity with digital technology. Combined with the SparkFun gamer:bit, it can be coded, customized, and controlled to create anything from robots to musical instruments, demonstrating its immense versatility.
