SparkFun DC/DC Converter Breakout

The SparkFun DC/DC Converter Breakout is a versatile board designed for the non-isolated, 6A DC-to-DC Converter Module. The module has the ability to convert any DC voltage between 4.5-14VDC into a selectable voltage ranging from 0.59 to 5.5VDC.

The output voltage can be set to the desired level by adding a resistor between the Trim and GND pins. For instance, a 1.34kΩ resistor can be used to set the module to output 5V, while a 2.182kΩ resistor can be used to achieve 3.3V. The module's datasheet provides a comprehensive list of resistor values for different output levels.

The board features an ON/OFF pin that can be pulled high to activate the converter module and pulled low to deactivate it. It comes fully assembled, with all components (except the trim resistor) populated. All pins of the converter module can be accessed via two headers with a pitch of 2.54mm.

The SparkFun DC/DC Converter Breakout offers a wide input voltage range of 4.5-14V, a regulated output of 0.59V-5.5VDC, and a maximum output current of 6A. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40C to 85C and ensures low output ripple and noise. The breakout board provides access to all pins of the converter module via 2.54mm pitch headers.
