The Texas Instruments DRV5032 Digital Magnetic Hall Effect Sensor breakout board is designed for seamless magnetic sensing integration into projects. It provides a digital output upon crossing a magnetic flux density threshold, ideal for precise applications.
Housing a Hall effect element, both analog signal conditioning and a low-frequency oscillator are integrated to achieve ultra-low power consumption. The device operates within a 1.65-V to 5.5-V supply range, allowing it to periodically gauge magnetic flux density, update the output, and transition into a low-power sleep mode.
The breakout features a convenient 3-pin header compatible with breadboards, and a JST PH (2mm pitch) 3-pin input connector for solderless use, although the optional cable for this setup is sold separately.
