A set of 5 Reed switches. The reed switch, also called reed contact, is an open switch which does not let current through. When a magnetic source comes close, the contacts will bend towards each other and the reed switch will allow current to pass through. This switch has a plastic housing around the glass as an extra, making it less susceptible to malfunction and breakable.
