Description

The QTRX-MD-08RC Reflectance Sensor Array is a highly efficient 8-channel device with an 8mm pitch and RC output. The board measures 61mm x 20mm, and it operates at a maximum board current of 17mA and LED current of 3.5mA. It also functions optimally within a range of 10mm.

Equipped with an array of IR LED/phototransistor pairs, the QTRX-MD-08RC is excellent for accurately detecting changes in reflectance, making it ideal for tasks such as line detection. The device operates within a voltage range of 2.9V to 5.5V. Furthermore, it provides dimmable brightness control that operates independently of the supply voltage.

The closer the object is to the sensor, the higher the contrast between light and dark readings. However, the sensor can generally detect high-reflectance objects up to approximately 40mm away.
