Description

The QTRX-MD-07RC Reflectance Sensor Array is a 7-channel, 8mm pitch, RC output, low current module. It measures 53.0mm x 20.0mm in size, and operates at a maximum current of 3.5mA for the LED and 17mA for the board. The optimal range for this sensor array is 10mm.

The QTRX-MD-07RC uses an array of IR LED/phototransistor pairs, making it an excellent tool for identifying changes in reflectance, such as line detection. It operates within a voltage range of 2.9V to 5.5V. One of its unique features is the dimmable brightness control, which remains independent of the supply voltage.

The closer the object to the sensor, the higher the contrast between light and dark readings. However, high-reflectance objects can generally be detected up to around 40mm. This version of the sensor array features high-performance, low-current QTRX sensors equipped with lenses. This makes the QTRX-MD-07RC ideal for applications that require precise detection and measurement.
