Description

The QTR-HD-13A Reflectance Sensor Array is a 13-channel sensor with a 4mm pitch and analog output. It measures 53.0mm x 20.0mm in size and operates at a maximum current of 30mA for the LED and 220mA for the board. The optimal range for this sensor is 5mm.

This sensor array is equipped with IR LED/phototransistor pairs, making it excellent for accurately identifying changes in reflectance, such as line detection. It operates from 2.9V to 5.5V and provides adjustable brightness control that is independent of the supply voltage. It also has separate controls for the odd and even emitters.

The QTR-HD-13A Reflectance Sensor Array is most effective when the object is closer, as this increases the contrast between light and dark readings. However, it can generally detect high-reflectance objects up to around 40mm. This version of the sensor array features traditional-style QTR sensors without lenses, offering a more straightforward and reliable sensing solution.
