The offline NOOBS package on this card contains only the Raspbian archive to free up space. For installing other operating systems like Arch, Pidora, OpenELEC, RaspBMC, or RISC OS, a network connection is required.

Switching between operating systems is simple; just hold down the shift key during boot to return to the NOOBS interface. This feature also allows you to overwrite a corrupted card with a fresh install.

For added security, SSH is disabled by default but can be easily re-enabled through raspi-config in the terminal or the Raspberry Pi Configuration in the desktop menu.
