The MyoWare 2.0 Link Shield is equipped with two switches - one for power and the other for selecting the output mode for the raw EMG (RAW), rectified (RECT), or envelope (ENV) signal. It also includes two status LEDs for power and the envelope signal, along with a jumper for reference or ground. To link each MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor and Link Shield stack, a MyoWare 2.0 Arduino Shield and a development board with the Arduino Uno R3 footprint are necessary. Please note, the 3.5mm TRS Cable is not included and will need to be purchased separately.
The MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem is an innovative connector system that allows users to easily snap shields together with a compact low profile. This system connects to a microcontroller's analog input to measure raw, filtered, and rectified electrical activity of a target muscle, eliminating the need for soldering connections between boards. Please note that the MyoWare and the Link Shield are not intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation treatment, or prevention of disease.
This product is a result of a collaboration with Brian Kaminski from Advancer Technologies. A portion of each sale goes back to them for product support and continued development.
