The Oak-D board features three onboard cameras with a 7.5cm stereo depth for quick setup. It interfaces over USB3C to the host, enabling DepthAI to be used with your chosen (embedded) host platform. This includes the Raspberry Pi 4, Jetson Nano Dev Kit, Google Edge TPU Coral, and other popular embedded hosts and operating systems.
The package includes the OAK-D/DepthAI USB3C, a 3ft USB3C cable, a power supply, and a getting started card. The Oak-D DepthAI is compatible with any operating system that supports OpenVINO, including Linux: Ubuntu, Yocto Project, CentOS, Raspbian, Mac OS X, and Windows 10. It can also be customized to run with non-OS micro-controllers or even host-free.
Key features of the Oak-D DepthAI include 2x 720P, 120Hz onboard cameras with a global shutter mono camera for high-quality, high-speed 3D perception. It also has a 12MP, 4K, 60Hz color camera for excellent color representation and digital zoom. Other features include a USB 3 Type C Connector, an onboard heatsink, and a barrel jack power connector (5V).
The Oak-D DepthAI comes with comprehensive documentation, including a getting started guide and access to the DepthAI forum and Discord. The Python and C++ API, as well as the hardware, are available on Github.
