For improved safety, the servo includes electronic and temperature protections. In case of a servo lock-up, it activates a protective torque output mechanism if the torque surpasses the overload capacity for 4 continuous seconds. Furthermore, if the servo's temperature exceeds 70 degrees Celsius, it ceases torque output. This output resumes once the temperature drops below the threshold.

Water resistance is enhanced with waterproof gaskets at the joints and a circuit board coated in waterproof varnish. Specialized adhesive seals protect both the motor and potentiometer.
