The Elektor 6-Channel Temperature Monitor & Logger is a partially assembled module that is capable of measuring temperatures ranging from an extreme low of -240°C up to a high of +850°C. This range is subject to the type of sensors used. The module accommodates up to six 3-wire PT100 sensors (sold separately), allowing for simultaneous measurement of six different temperatures. The temperature readings are transmitted via a serial port for data logging or further processing. The kit also comes with an optional serial LCD for immediate display of the temperature readings on the board itself.
The 6-Channel Temperature Monitor & Logger is an ideal tool for those who need to monitor multiple temperatures at the same time. Whether it's for scientific experiments, industrial processes or climate control in a large facility, this device can provide accurate and real-time temperature data. The module's ability to connect with up to six sensors provides flexibility and convenience, making it a versatile tool for various applications.
One of the unique properties of this product is its wide temperature range. With the ability to measure temperatures from as low as -240°C up to +850°C, it is suitable for use in a diverse range of environments, from extremely cold to extremely hot. Furthermore, the optional serial LCD allows for immediate visualization of temperature readings, which can be particularly useful in time-sensitive applications.
Please note that assembly of this kit requires soldering. Additionally, a Serial to USB converter and a 9V power supply are necessary for operation. These items, along with the PT100 temperature sensors, are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.
