This circular flexible thin film pressure sensor, with a diameter of 18.3mm and extended legs, excels at detecting pressure with high sensitivity. The RP-C flexible pressure sensor is constructed from an ultra-thin film boasting outstanding mechanical properties. It incorporates highly conductive materials and nano-sized pressure-sensitive layers. The sensor features a dual-layer design: the upper layer includes a thin film and a pressure-sensitive layer, while the lower layer comprises a thin film and a conductive circuit. These layers are bonded using double-sided tape. When pressure is applied to the active area, the lower layer's initially disconnected circuit becomes connected through the upper layer's pressure-sensitive component, translating pressure into measurable resistance. Notably, the output resistance diminishes as the applied pressure increases.
