The DFRobot FireBeetle Covers-Camera & Audio Media Board is an exceptional multimedia device crafted for the expanding universe of the Internet of Things (IoT). This remarkable module is equipped with interfaces that cater to audio and visual needs, connecting a NAU8822 CODEC IIS, an OV7725 camera, an SD card (SDIO), alongside earphone and microphone jacks. Additionally, it features a mini MIC input interface, making it versatile for various audio applications.

The NAU8822 CODEC IIS stands out with its ability to drive both 12@8Ω BTL loudspeakers and 40mW@16Ω earphones. It supports a direct connection allowing seamless audio playback. This board also allows for DAC sound signal acquisition and includes a programmable microphone amplifier, facilitating quality audio recording. Capturing crisp audio is straightforward when using the onboard MIC interface or an external microphone, with recordings easily stored on the SD card.

Enhanced by its OV7725 camera compatibility, this media board empowers users to take photos, integrating seamlessly with the FireBeetle ESP32 main board.
