Arduino Opta Lite

Sparkfun's Arduino Opta is a robust and user-friendly micro Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that comes with Industrial IoT capabilities. Developed in collaboration with Finder, a leader in industrial and building automation devices, Opta enables professionals to expand their automation projects while utilizing the extensive Arduino ecosystem. It caters to PLC engineers by supporting both Arduino sketch and standard PLC languages, such as LD (Ladder Logic Diagram) and FBD (Function Block Diagram).

The Arduino Opta is powered by an STM32H747XI dual-core Cortex®-M7 +M4 MCU, enabling users to carry out real-time control and monitoring, as well as implement predictive maintenance applications. It is designed to be secure and durable, supporting OTA firmware updates and ensuring data security from hardware to Cloud with the onboard secure element and X.509 Standard compliance.

The Arduino Opta is known for its easy deployment in production, courtesy of Arduino Pro’s signature vast range of readily available software libraries and Arduino sketches. It also offers various connectivity options, making control effortless via real-time dashboards in combination with the intuitive Arduino Cloud or third-party services.
