Arduino MKR Motor Carrier

The MKR Motor Carrier is a versatile add-on board for the Arduino MKR series, designed to control a wide range of motors. This board is ideal for projects where precise motor control is necessary. It supports four servo motors and provides four DC motor outputs, two of which are optimized for high performance. This high performance is made possible by the integrated current sensors, which provide REAL -time feedback on the motor load.

In addition to motors, users can also connect encoder sensors via two dedicated inputs, which is crucial for projects requiring accurate position or speed measurements. There are also four inputs for analog sensors, making the board suitable for a range of sensors that can be used in various applications.

A notable feature of the MKR Motor Carrier is its built-in processor, which can automatically control some outputs, allowing for more complex applications and automation. An I2C connector is available for additional connectivity.

The board's energy supply is flexible; it has a connection for a LiPo battery (compatible with 2S or 3S) and a connection block for alternative power sources. A convenient ON-OFF switch with a Power ON LED indicator makes it easy to check the power status, and there are LEDs that visually indicate the direction of rotation of the DC motors.
