Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi Development Board

This Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi Development Board, at just 101 x 53mm, is engineered with the same form factor as the popular Mega and Due. Yet, its compact design packs a punch, offering 76 GPIO pins that include 12 analog, 12 PWM, 4 UARTs, 3 I2C, 2 SPI, 1 FDCAN, and 1 SAI, ensuring abundant connectivity for diverse projects.

The board supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE through an external antenna, the Murata 1DX. This feature makes it seamless to connect the board to the Arduino IoT Cloud, facilitating quick remote monitoring with robust communication security, allowing for peace of mind when managing projects from afar.

Powered by a dual-core 32-bit Arm MCU STM32H747XI, the GIGA R1 WiFi combines a Cortex-M7 at 480 MHz and a Cortex-M4 at 240 MHz. With 2MB Flash and 1MB RAM, it is equipped to run two programs concurrently, such as executing micro-python on one core and Arduino on the other, enhancing multitasking capabilities.

The addition of a USB-C connector allows for power, programming, and HID functions, enabling it to emulate a mouse or keyboard when linked to a PC. A USB-A connector is also present, accommodating USB sticks and HID devices like mice or keyboards. It also boasts a 3.5mm audio jack input/output, JTAG connector, and 20Pin Arducam camera connector, providing a comprehensive setup for various audio and visual integrations.

Furthermore, the GIGA R1 WiFi is designed to handle up to 24 volts, adding a layer of flexibility in power management and extending its adaptability across a wide array of applications and environments. This robust design ensures reliability and versatility in any number of technological endeavors.
