Adafruit VL6180X Time of Flight Distance Ranging Sensor (VL6180)

The VL6180X is a compact and precise Time of Flight distance sensor, equipped with a tiny laser source for accurate surface distance measurement. Ideal for direct object sensing, its narrow light source ensures precision unmatched by ultrasonic or IR counterparts.

Benefiting from a 5mm to 100mm range, this sensor can extend to 150-200mm under optimal conditions. It integrates a lux sensor for additional light measurement, expanding its functionality. Suitable for projects requiring accurate proximity data, it simplifies integration with its breakout board, regulator, and level shifting, compatible with 3-5V microcontrollers like Feather, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino Uno.
