
The PiCowbell OV5640 Camera Breakout is a top-tier solution with a 5 Megapixel sensor, offering stunning picture quality. Its 120-degree wide-angle lens with autofocus enhances photographic capabilities for your Pico or Pico W.
With built-in JPEG encoding, photos can be saved directly to an SD card or uploaded to adafruit.io for seamless data handling. The RP2040 chip provides a fast PIO interface to manage 'DVP' cameras efficiently, utilizing 8 image data pins, Pixel Clock, H Sync, V Sync, and I2C interfaces.
The breakout board includes an assembler PCB, camera sensor, and two pieces of 20-pin headers. Soldering is required for setup, adding flexibility to configure the PiCowbell with Pico Stacking Headers or Pico Socket Headers for additional integration.
