The Raspberry Pi often struggles with controlling DC Servo Motors due to precise timing requirements. This handy HAT extends its capabilities, allowing control of up to 16 servos with perfect timing and PWM up to 1.6 KHz with 12-bit precision.
Compatible with Raspberry Pi Model Zero, A+, B+, Pi 2, Pi 3, Pi 4, or Pi 5, the HAT can also work with Model A or B using a tall 2x13 header. Drive 16 servos or PWM outputs over I2C using only 2 pins, and stack up to 62 HATs for up to 992 servos.
It supports any servo powered by 5V and 3.3V logic level signals. A Python library is available for immediate implementation, aiding in creating complex robotic projects. Each order includes a Servo HAT, necessary headers, and a 2-pin terminal block. Basic soldering is required for assembly.
The kit excludes the Raspberry Pi, servos, and 5V power supply. Recommended power supplies and servo options are in the tutorial page and Adafruit shop. Terminal block color may vary. Perfectly address servo control needs for diverse electronics projects seamlessly.
