LJ18A3-8-Z / BX Proximity sensor N / O NPN 8mm
Description Attachments
This proximity sensor detects an iron object with a maximum distance of 8 mm from the sensor. The sensor works as an NPN transistor (normally open). Which means that the voltage is cut off when an iron object is detected within 8mm from the sensor. Pay attention! The sensor does not work on 5V.

Niek Bruggeman DOES NOT WORK ON 5V! CORRECT VOLTAGE NOT LISTED..
Voltage not clearly stated, therefore ordered the wrong one. Yes, it says small that it is not the 5v version, but which voltage is? Mentioning voltage would probably have warned me to order the other one. The shipping costs are too high for an exchange. Unfortunately. Missed opportunity.
