Description Links Attachments
This is the Whadda WSI8055N USB Experiment Interface Card, a DIY mini kit packed with functionality. It offers 5 digital input channels and 8 digital output channels. In addition, you get two analog inputs and two analog outputs with 8-bit resolution. You can expand the number of inputs/outputs by connecting up to 4 cards to your PC's USB connectors. All communication routines are housed in a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) K8055D.DLL, making it possible to write custom Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7) applications in Delphi, Visual Basic, C++ Builder or any other 32-bit Windows development tool that can call a DLL.
The diagnostic software includes individual output/input tests and 'clear all / set all' functionality. It also has a counter function on inputs 1 and 2 with adjustable debouncing (max 20KHz depending on total input/output load), and analogue input with bar graph display. Compatible with our previous version and uses Microsoft® human interface device (HID) driver, no extra driver needed.
