SparkFun Top pHAT for Raspberry Pi

The SparkFun Top pHAT for Raspberry Pi is a unique and dynamic add-on that enhances the functionality of your Raspberry Pi or any 2x20 GPIO single-board computer (SBC). It features a 6.096 cm (2.4") TFT display, six RGB LEDs, and three switches, all designed to sit at the top of your Pi pHAT stack. This board doesn't support stacking on top of it to ensure an unobstructed view of its components.

The SparkFun Top pHAT can be used to prototype machine learning on your Raspberry Pi 4, NVIDIA Jetson, Google Coral, or any other SBC. It supports machine learning interactions such as voice control using its on-board microphones and speaker. It also offers a graphical display for camera control feedback and doesn't hinder access to the RPi camera connector. The programmable buttons, joystick, and RGB LED can be used for user-defined I/O, dynamic system interaction, or system status displays.

In addition to these features, the SparkFun Top pHAT can also serve as an interface to the SparkFun Qwiic ecosystem. The board includes a Qwiic connector for easy integration over I²C, opening up billions of combinations of Qwiic-enabled boards to expand its capabilities.

The SparkFun Top pHAT is a fundamental machine learning add-on for Raspberry Pi or any 2x20 GPIO SBC. It offers a wealth of I/O interaction and doesn't require any soldering to get started.

Note: The I²C address of the Top pHAT is 0x71 and is hardware defined. To communicate with multiple Top pHAT sensors on a single bus, a multiplexer/Mux is required. If you need to use more than one Top pHAT sensor, consider using the Qwiic Mux Breakout.
