SparkFun RedBot Sensor - Line Follower

The SparkFun RedBot Sensor - Line Follower is a fantastic addition to your RedBot that equips your robot with the ability to detect lines or nearby objects. This sensor operates by identifying reflected light from its in-built infrared LED. It measures the amount of reflected infrared light, allowing it to detect transitions from light to dark (lines) or even objects directly in front of it.

The Line Follower sensor comes with a 3-pin header which effortlessly connects to the RedBot Mainboard via female to female jumper wires. With the RedBot library included, you can easily program your robot to detect lines or objects. The sensor also features a mounting hole for easy attachment to the front or back of your robot chassis.
