SparkFun Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Kit - Without Raspberry Pi

The SparkFun Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Kit is the perfect solution for those who have a Raspberry Pi 4 and wish to utilize it to its full potential. The kit includes a 64GB memory card, providing ample capacity and exceptional read/write speeds to run most operating systems for the Raspberry Pi platform smoothly. The card passes the Raspberry Pi SD Card Speed Test and comes blank, allowing you to select from a multitude of operating systems or projects built specifically for the Pi.

The kit also features a USB Type C wall adapter and a Type C to Type C USB cable, offering a modular power system for the Raspberry Pi 4. The heat sink case not only protects the Raspberry Pi board but also cools the major components, ensuring smooth operation even during heavy usage.

Furthermore, the kit includes the Logitech K400 Plus wireless keyboard, offering a plug-and-play HID solution for the system. The HDMI to Micro HDMI cable included can interface with any HDMI monitor. The kit also includes SparkFun's Qwiic Shim, enabling easy attachment of any Qwiic Boards for testing.

Please note that this version of the Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Kit does not include a Raspberry Pi. This will need to be purchased separately. Also, the Qwiic Shim is not intended to be used with the Heatsink case, as it prevents the case from properly connecting with the processor. The top of the case needs to be off should you use the Shim or utilize an extension header in conjunction with a Pi Hat.

The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 2.54mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.
