SparkFun MicroMod WiFi Function Board - DA16200

The SparkFun MicroMod DA16200 Function Board is a powerhouse of features, designed to enhance any MicroMod project with its integrated WiFi module. It comes equipped with a 40MHz crystal oscillator, 32.768KHz RTC, Lumped RF filter, 4MB flash memory, and an on-board chip antenna. For those who love to tinker, JTAG connectors are also included for deep dive programming, making this board perfect for your next IoT project.

This function board is especially useful for MicroMod projects that require advanced connectivity and power efficiency, such as door locks, thermostats, sensors, pet trackers, and other home IoT projects. One of the key features of this board is its multiple sleep modes, which allow for incredibly low current draws of 0.2uA-3.5uA.

Another major advantage of the DA16200 module is its certified WiFi alliance for IEEE802.11b/g/n, WiFi Direct, and WPS functionalities. This certification means that the module has been approved for use in multiple countries and can be transferred under the WiFi Alliance transfer policy without needing to be tested again.

Note: Please remember that a MicroMod Processor and Main Board are not included with this MicroMod WiFi Function Board. These boards will need to be purchased separately.

The MicroMod ecosystem is a modular interface that connects a microcontroller “processor board” to various “carrier board” peripherals. The MicroMod standard uses the M.2 standard and is designed for easy processor swapping. You can pair a specialized carrier board for the project you need with your choice of compatible processor!
