SparkFun Qwiic Micro - SAMD21 Development Board

The SparkFun Qwiic Micro - SAMD21 Development Board is a compact powerhouse of a microcontroller. Designed to fit the standard 2.54cm x 2.54cm Qwiic size, this is one of SparkFun's smallest micro-controller offerings. It is equipped with the robust ATSAMD21E18, an ARM Cortex M0+, 32-bit microcontroller with 256KB of flash memory that can operate at speeds of up to 48MHz. The board features 12 digital pins that include 5 analog pins, SPI, I²C, an additional UART data bus, and a Qwiic connector, making it a versatile addition to the Qwiic ecosystem and I²C prototyping.

The Qwiic Micro has open pads on its underside for a LiPo Battery connector, allowing you to make the micro-controller portable if required. Additional pads are provided for a flash memory chip to maximize the board's memory capacity. The SparkFun Qwiic Micro is pre-programmed with a UF2 Bootloader, making programming a breeze with straightforward driver installation.

As part of the SparkFun Qwiic Connect System, this microcontroller is part of an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables that streamline prototyping and reduce the likelihood of errors. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, which saves required PCB space and ensures correct, polarized connections.
