The RedBoard Turbo included in the kit is powered by the ATSAMD21G18, an ARM Cortex M0+, 32-bit microcontroller that can run at up to 48MHz. It boasts 4MB of external flash memory and a UF2 (USB Flashing Format) bootloader, making it an economical and user-friendly development platform. The kit also includes a 0.8 meter reversible micro-B cable.
The Qwiic Pro kit doesn't stop at just a RedBoard Turbo. It also includes a range of sensor and accessory boards. The Qwiic Joystick is perfect for controlling graphics or motors, while the Qwiic Proximity sensor can detect objects and motions up to 20 centimeters away. The Qwiic Accelerometer is a solid state triple axis accelerometer that can measure movement, tilt, and orientation. Finally, the Qwiic OLED is a 64x48 pixel white and black display that is easy to program for text and simple graphics.
The Qwiic Pro Kit comes with a variety of Qwiic cables, numerous example sketches, and hookup guides to help you get started. The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables ecosystem that makes prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.
The kit includes a RedBoard Turbo, 0.8 Meter Reversible USB A to Reversible Micro-B Cable, Qwiic Joystick, Qwiic Accelerometer Sensor, Qwiic Proximity Sensor, Qwiic OLED Display, two Qwiic Cables of 50mm and 100mm each, a 200mm Qwiic Cable, and a 500mm Qwiic Cable. All the guides and code you need to get started can be found in the Qwiic Pro Kit Project Guide, RedBoard Turbo Hookup Guide, Qwiic Joystick Hookup Guide, Qwiic OLED Hookup Guide, and the Qwiic Accelerometer Hookup Guide.
