This board is the heart of the 1of! -Boards family. These boards are specially developed to enable the hobbyist to easily develop projects with the ESP8266 processor. The board contains the minimum components required to flash the ESP8266. Through the 20-pole expansion port, 1of! -Proto boards can easily be connected with which all possible projects can be realized.
Ultimately, a working project can be taken "into production" by placing it in a standard project box. It is of course also possible to combine the simple scheme of the 1of! -ESP12 with the scheme of your own electronics in order to create a complete design that can in turn serve as the basis for designing a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). With two jumpers the existing 5 volts and / or 3.3 volts of the USB port can be connected to the expansion port and the ESP-12.
