Cheap Dated design SDA / SCL unnecessarily connected to A4, A5 SPI unnecessarily consumes pins 9,11,12,13 Large SD card, may be micro-sd

Was once an OK solution, but if they run out I would include an alternative in the range and ban this variant. These shields are a design from the time of the UNO-1/Duemilanove: when Arduino boards did not yet have SDA/SCL and ICPS headers. This shield does not work on: Arduino Leonardo Adafruit M0 Express Adafruit M4 Express Arduino DUE Adafruit solves this very nicely in their shield, where the R3 layout is the starting point, and people who still have an old beast like the Duemilanove can use it with some drops of solder to make it compatible. Only it is €21. So I'd like to look for a modern clone that handles things well.
